Welcome To ITESAME 2025

The 1st International Conference on Technology, Ethnomathematics, and STEM Approaches in Mathematics Education (ITESAME) is designed as an academic forum that brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners from various institutions to exchange ideas, innovations, and recent research findings. The conference primarily focuses on the integration of technology, ethnomathematics, and STEM approaches in mathematics education.

ITESAME provides a collaborative platform for discussing transformative and context-based educational strategies that combine the potential of digital technology, the richness of local cultural values, and interdisciplinary approaches rooted in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The goal is to enhance the quality, relevance, and inclusiveness of mathematics learning across educational levels.

ITESAME 2025 is organized by the Indonesian Mathematical Society (IndoMS) Bali–Nusa Tenggara Chapter, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics Education at Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika, and supported by various mathematics education study programs from universities across the Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) regions

ITESAME 2025 serves as an inspiring academic platform that brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners to exchange innovative ideas, recent research findings, and best practices in the integration of technology, ethnomathematics, and STEM approaches in mathematics education. The conference aims to promote the development of contextual, transformative, and relevant mathematics learning that addresses the challenges and needs of education in the digital era and culturally grounded communities.
This conference promotes the development of learning models that are contextual, meaningful, and relevant to the needs of students in the digital era, grounded in local cultural values, and that strengthen the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the teaching and learning process.
